Brooks Turf provides an excellent installation service that not only saves you time, but heavy labor as well. The cost for this service depends on the size of your order. For jobs under 2,870 square feet, there is a flat rate.

Our installers will pre-fertilize your lawn area, install your lawn, and then roll over the lawn with a sod roller.  They cut the sod to fit around any border, whether it is curved or straight, and around sprinkler heads.  The beauty of it is that you won’t have to lift a finger!  (Our installers do not do any ground preparation).

It is important to stagger the joints of each joint as shown. Place pieces close together without overlapping or creating gaps. After the sod is installed, moisten the yard, but make sure the grass does not become soggy.

To finish installing your turf, fill a sod roller 1/2 full of water. Roll the sod lengthwise and then widthwise as shown in the diagram. This ensures the sod will have soil to soil contact and also helps to press the seams together.
